Sore Throat
Masakit lalamunan
A sore throat is pain, scratchiness, or irritation in the throat that often gets worse when swallowing. Most sore throats are caused by viral infections such as colds and are not serious. Bacterial causes like strep throat are less common but may need antibiotic treatment.
Low urgency
See a doctor if your sore throat is severe, lasts more than a week, or is accompanied by difficulty swallowing or breathing, high fever, rash, joint pain, or swollen lymph nodes. When in doubt, consult a physician.
