Nausea is an uneasy feeling in the stomach that often comes before vomiting, though it does not always lead to it. It can be triggered by motion sickness, strong odors, certain medications, early pregnancy, or digestive problems.
Low urgency
See a doctor if nausea lasts more than a few days, prevents you from eating or drinking, or is accompanied by severe abdominal pain, bloody vomit, or signs of dehydration. When in doubt, consult a physician.
