Hyperacidity / Stomach Upset
Hyperacidity or stomach upset refers to a burning or gnawing pain in the upper abdomen (epigastric area), often accompanied by bloating, belching, or a sour taste. It is commonly caused by excess stomach acid, eating spicy or fatty food, stress, or irregular meals.
Low urgency
See a doctor if stomach pain is severe, occurs frequently, or is accompanied by unintended weight loss, vomiting blood, black or tarry stools, or difficulty swallowing. When in doubt, consult a physician.
