Diarrhea
LBM
Diarrhea is the passage of loose or watery stools, usually three or more times a day. It is commonly caused by viral or bacterial infections, food intolerance, or contaminated food and water. Most cases are short-lived and resolve on their own with adequate fluid intake.
Low urgency
See a doctor if diarrhea lasts more than two days, if you notice blood or mucus in your stool, or if you develop signs of dehydration such as very dark urine, dizziness, or dry mouth. For young children and older adults, seek medical attention sooner. When in doubt, consult a physician.
