Back Pain
Back pain is discomfort felt in the upper, middle, or lower back. It is one of the most common reasons people visit a doctor. Most back pain results from muscle strain, poor posture, or prolonged sitting, and improves with rest and gentle activity.
Low urgency
See a doctor if back pain lasts more than two weeks, follows an injury, or is accompanied by numbness or tingling in the legs, difficulty urinating, or unexplained weight loss. Sudden severe back pain with leg weakness needs prompt evaluation. When in doubt, consult a physician.
